The NAHB International Builders' Show returns to Las Vegas February 2 to 4, 2027, at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Hosted by the National Association of Home Builders, IBS is the largest annual light construction trade show in the United States, and every winter it turns Las Vegas into the center of the residential building world. If you want a clear picture of where homes are headed in the next few years, this is the event that sets the direction.
What Is the International Builders' Show?
IBS is a professional trade show built for the people who design, build, remodel, and supply homes. It draws tens of thousands of builders, remodelers, architects, designers, and manufacturers, and the exhibit floor spans everything that goes into a house: framing and building systems, windows and doors, insulation and roofing, smart-home technology, outdoor living, kitchen and bath, flooring, and finishes. Alongside the floor is a large education program of sessions and demonstrations covering construction methods, business practices, and code changes.
Design & Construction Week: IBS Meets KBIS
What makes the Las Vegas dates especially significant is that IBS runs side by side with the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS). Together the two form Design & Construction Week, one of the largest residential design and construction gatherings in the world. IBS covers how a home is built, and KBIS covers the kitchens, baths, fixtures, and finishes inside it, so a single badge gives professionals a look at the entire home under one roof.

What You Will See on the Floor
Every year the show has a few themes that signal where the market is moving. Recent editions have leaned heavily into energy efficiency, sustainable materials, aging-in-place and accessible design, smart-home integration, and indoor-outdoor living. On the hearth side, that shows up as cleaner, more efficient gas models and increasingly realistic electric units from brands like Heat N Glo. On the design side, it shows up as more glass and light: larger windows, frameless enclosures, and the kind of custom glass and mirror work that opens up a floor plan. And with a growing share of living space moving outside, outdoor living products like fireplaces and fire features are a bigger part of the show every year.

Why the Show Matters
IBS is where the products and ideas that reach everyday homes get their first real audience. A material or design that debuts on the floor one winter is often what builders are specifying and homeowners are requesting a year or two later. That is why the show draws professionals from every corner of the industry, and why staying current on what comes out of it is part of doing good work in a market like Las Vegas.
